'Nature Reflected' Exhibition
PRESS RELEASE
NATURE REFLECTED
Brand new exhibition from art consultancy Artfully Sorted
Launching 5th June 2020 11am
Online art exhibition featuring work by artists inspired by nature and the environment curated by art consultancy Artfully Sorted. This show coincides with World Environment Day and is in support of World Land Trust charity
Nature Reflected is an exciting new exhibition showcasing the work of 22 artists who have taken their inspiration from subjects that can be found in the natural world, be it flora, fauna, landscapes, seascapes, waterfalls, and stunning vistas. In these unprecedented times the realisation of our shared place in nature and how it affects our being seems more pertinent than ever. The exhibition intends to create a dialogue between the viewer, nature, art and artist helping each of us think about our emotional response, beliefs and attitudes in relation to nature and the natural world.
The opening of the show coincides with the UN’s World Environment Day, a day which aims to encourage action and awareness in protecting our environment. To celebrate World Environment Day, a percentage of proceeds from the show will be donated to World Land Trust, an international conservation charity that protects the world’s most biologically significant and threatened habitats.
The exhibition will go live online on the Artfully Sorted website on the 5th June at 11am and features work from the following artists:
Alanna Eakin, Jo Holdsworth, Andrew McIntosh, Bianca Smith, Mieke Douglas, Misha Milovanovich, Sarah Ollerenshaw, Kate Dolan, Sarah Warren, Jan Erika, Laura Benetton, Patrick Steel, Kate Kelleher, Susanna MacInnes, Robyn Forbes, Jonquil Williamson, Katharine Rowe, Fereshteh Stoecklein, Julia Anne Taylor, Victoria Horkan, Darragh Mulrooney and Suzanne Winn
Artwork will be across different artistic mediums of photography, paintings, prints and sculpture and can be viewed and purchased at
https://www.artfullysorted.com/nature-reflected
Each artist will have artwork featured in a personal guided tour of the exhibition by Artfully Sorted founder, Charissa Risley, who will discuss each featured piece as well as talk about each of the artists and their inspirations. The guided tour will be available in video format on the online link above, alongside other online videos and discussions about the show to be released throughout the course of the exhibition, which closes 30th June.
