We are an award-winning London-based art consultancy dedicated to transforming interiors through captivating art. Working across private homes and offices, our art curation service is truly bespoke. We offer our clients exclusive access to an expertly curated book of artists and leading galleries, both here in the UK and internationally.

All our art consultations are led by Charissa Risley, whose “incredible eye” is matched by outstanding creative and business expertise. Educated at Sotheby’s Institute and with a distinguished career in Finance, Charissa brings a unique balance of aesthetic sensitivity and commercial acumen. This ensures every art sourcing project is managed with professional precision, meticulous budgeting, seamless timelines and a cohesive visual outcome.
We provide a white-glove, end-to-end art advisory service. Beyond recommendations of art to buy, we also manage the entire 'logistics of art sourcing'—from bespoke framing to professional installation—ensuring a seamless journey from empty wall to curated collection.
Initially, an art consultation is arranged to scope the project and learn about the client’s vision for their space, artistic preferences and budget. This will be an in-person consultation with Charissa Risley if the site is in London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Middlesex and Surrey, or over Zoom video if further afield or internationally. Following the art consultation, we return with an initial selection of artworks for consideration. Our proposal may feature a mix of established and emerging talents sourced either from our own artists or partner galleries. Through our extensive network in the art world, our clients are presented with exciting and highly collectible artists tailored to their brief. We are also able to source art from 20th century artists thanks to our extensive network of gallery connections.
The artworks for consideration are presented digitally mocked up. This assists clients to visualise how a proposed piece will look in their space. In some cases (depending on location) we are able to bring a painting to view and trial. We frequently facilitate bespoke commissions, ensuring our clients are collectors of a truly one-of-a-kind piece perfectly scaled and styled for their space.
We coordinate and advise on the installation of existing artworks and any newly purchased through us arranged with our preferred expert hangers.
We are also able to arrange the reframing of any existing artworks for clients based in London.

Gifting art is a thoughtful and meaningful way to mark a special occasion, and our art gifting service is designed to make the process seamless and enjoyable. We take time to understand the recipient, the occasion and your budget, then source or commission artworks that feel personal, considered and lasting.
From emerging artists to unique, one-of-a-kind pieces, we help you select a piece they will love.
Art consultations : Our hourly rate is £80 p/h. For residential clients, if two or more works of art are purchased through us we cap our charges at 3 hours even if the art sourcing project takes longer. For site visits located more than one hour from our Wimbledon office, an initial consultation fee of £160 applies. This covers a two-hour minimum appointment to ensure a comprehensive assessment of your space.
Re-Framing : For clients within London, we offer a dedicated re-framing service with a fixed arranging fee of £60 per re-framing project. This includes access to our curated network of specialist framers, with the framer’s material and labour costs billed separately.
Art installations : To ensure your art is displayed to its fullest potential, we coordinate installation through our network of specialist art hangers known for their exceptional care and precision. Whether for a private home or a corporate office, their expert services are tailored to your project, with fees provided upon request.
Commercial Projects: Our fee structure is tailored to the scale and complexity of each project. We offer the flexibility of either a fixed project fee or our standard professional rate of £80 per hour, invoiced through to the final installation and handover.
Design & Renovation Partnerships We act as specialist art advisors on renovation and design projects, working in close collaboration with interior designers and their clients. Our consultancy is most effective when integrated once the design scheme—including palettes and textiles—is finalised, or at the concluding phase of a renovation to provide the defining finishing touches.
Fees & Trade Terms We operate at a professional rate of £80 per hour, with the flexibility to invoice the designer or the client directly. For residential projects, this fee is capped at three hours should the client acquire two or more original works through us.
For trade-introduced projects, Artfully Sorted offers a 10% introductory commission on the first original artwork purchased (excluding framing and logistics).
