David Atkins oil seascape painting installed in an entrance hall in Wimbledon

Our clients had been looking for a painting for this wall by the entrance to their Wimbledon home for a number of years. Having visited art fairs and galleries in that time, nothing quite hit the mark. Artfully Sorted were brought in to present some artworks for consideration and we honed in on this stunning seascape of Old Harry Rocks by British contemporary artist David Atkins. It transpired this was a special part of England’s Jurassic coastline for our client having spent many summers there as a child and they shared “it was as if the painting found us”.
