ARTIST BIO

Australian born London based artist Bianca Smith is a highly sought after artist, who counts pop stars and Royalty amongst her private collectors.

Working from her studio in SW London, Bianca’s work features mainly the female form and non-figurative shapes representing forms seen in nature. In her an abstract cubist style, with her signature look of thin black lines over her abstract shapes painted in gouache and acrylic paint.  She also works with the world’s top interior designers, both in the UK and abroad, doing bespoke commissions for the most luxurious properties.  Featured in many magazines:  Vogue, Homes & Garden, AD, House & Garden,  Elle & the Andrew Martin review.

What distinguishes my style is that at the end of each painting I paint thin black lines in gouache using a very fine sable brush - this method concentrates the painting and makes it pop

With beautiful colours, she paints people, animals, objects and it’s very distinctively her style- PHILIP TREACY, MILLINER

Featured Artwork - ‘Spring Belle and Tiger Tulip’

“’Spring Belle and Tiger Tulip’ was inspired by my love of tulips, especially my favourite which is a Tiger tulip - so I created a composition of one of my cubist girls reclining in a spring garden holding one.”
