ARTIST BIO

Susan Andreae is a London based sculptor and printmaker. She has a 1st class honours degree, postgraduate diploma in sculpture and an MA in printmaking. 

Her artistic interest is in the form and structure of a subject. She strives to convey the movement, stretch, stride or aspiration of the figure or groups of figures, rather than merely the anatomy.  She has a passion for the architecture of ancient hilltop towns built simply with local stone - inspiration for ‘Architectural Figures’ here.

Her work has been in The Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition on a number of occasions, as well as the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair and Mall Galleries to mention a few.
