David Atkins oil seascape painting installed in an entrance hall in Wimbledon

A contemporary oil seascape by David Atkins was chosen for this Wimbledon home. After searching unsuccessfully for several years at art fairs and galleries, our clients invited Artfully Sorted to help find the right piece for this prominent space. We presented a selection of works and together narrowed it down to this exquisite painting of Old Harry Rocks.

The choice became deeply personal when it transpired that the clients had spent their childhood summers along this specific stretch of the Jurassic Coast. As they shared: 'it was as if the painting found us.' Finding art with such a meaningful connection for our clients made this an extra special art sourcing project for Artfully Sorted.
