ARTIST BIO
Patrick Steel is a British Photographer based in Wimbledon. Patrick grew up with photography around him as his father Arthur Steel, was a renowned Fleet Street photographer. From the age of 7, he would help his Dad print black and white images in the dark room. He would go on to study photography, and after his studies, went to work at London’s largest photographic studio, Holborn Studios. After a few years, he decided to go freelance. He worked on assignments all around the world with some of the world’s leading photographers, including Terry O’Neill, David Steen and Brian Aris. He has personally met Her Majesty the Queen, Michael Jackson and David Bowie through his work.
