ADDITIONAL INFO
Beverley Brook rises in Worcester Park and flows through South West London via Wimbledon Common reaching the Thames near Putney Bridge. It is a lovely cooling spot in the height of Summer. Katharine never uses black, instead Prussian Blue to recreate the depths of colour in the water, which is in great contrast with the sunlit patches of river bank. This is framed in a bespoke white deep frame and is ready to hang.
Katharine also creates bespoke commission pieces based on a favourite view or pet. Contact us for more information and get in touch soon if you need your painting before Christmas as a present to yourself or for a loved one.

KATHARINE ROWE
ARTIST BIO
Katharine Rowe is an English painter based in London who graduated in Fine Art and History of Art at the University of Edinburgh in 1999 and spent a year studying at Universite de la Sorbonne, Paris. Having spent a decade working in advertising Katharine felt the increasing need to be out of the office and with her paintbrush. The past 10 years have been dedicated to just that.
Katharine is strongly motivated by colour and she often spends up to an hour mixing and preparing paints before turning to the canvas. Katharine is always inspired by her surroundings from the varied landscapes of London to still lifes and portraits in my studio. Her works have been widely exhibited throughout London.
